Here Comes the Sun

2 Days in a row with sunshine! The weather has finally broke for a bit and the warmth is much welcomed!
Today, being Monday, went by a bit slowly. Ultimately, though, I feel somewhat proud of my accomplishments today. Not only did I make it through 1 pile of documents, I made it through 2! Documents have been sorted and put away in binders. At the end of the day, I began working on a new project. Tomorrow, I will begin reevaluating the object history files in an attempt to find a better method of filing. From the looks of things, I will simply need to go through the preexisting folders and determine a method that will allow future users to quickly locate their information. Organization is one of my favorite things so I find it exciting to think about the possibilities that will come with all of these documents! Once this is done, I have yet another stack of documents that will need to be filed away.
Anyway, I am feeling much better today. (Still not 100%, but I will gladly accept the fact that I can actually get out without feeling miserable.)

This evening, I decided to get some fresh air by going out for a walk along the Clyde. After a solid hike, I met a lady that was staying in the hostel and we had a nice chat. She was from Hamilton and loved to come down and visit New Lanark for the relaxation. We exchanged stories of travel, family, and leisure activities. It was especially fun to hear her describe what it was like growing up with 8 older siblings. (And I thought having one could be tedious.)
I'm not very good at going out of my way to talk to people; generally, I feel like I am burdening them when I do. Perhaps I will have the opportunity to meet people like I did tonight and enjoy learning more about their life in Scotland and abroad.
